Long Lake Provincial Park
June 7, 2019
Nova Scotia Power is conducting transmission line maintenance work in Long Lake Park this summer. Off-road equipment will be used along the transmission line corridor. No major disruptions to public trail access are anticipated, but there may be periodic site-specific trail closures as equipment travels along the line. We ask the public to observe signage that will be posted during these times. Work is scheduled to begin June 17 and the majority will be completed over a two-week period by June 28. Any remaining weather-dependant work will be completed by the end of July.
Rissers Beach Provincial Park
May 28, 2019
Due to ongoing repairs, the day-use washroom facilities at Rissers Beach will be temporarily closed until further notice.
